Yellow

With the war having just ended in Beirut, 11 year old Palestinian Suha struggles to fit in the new country after relocating from Kuwait. Yellow is a short film that follows her three day journey of skipping school to avoid being bullied and instead doing what she likes to do best: wander into buildings with staircases and entrances that appeal to her spending the day there reading her book, dancing and writing.

It is during these three days that she forges a friendship with the grumpiest old man living in her neighborhood – Taha.

The film follows the growing friendship and admiration these two have and ends on a bittersweet note of separation and hope.
